With Wave, Samsung has the opportunity to present its new Bada operating system!

Wave uses the TouchWiz user interface and has a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU for high powered processing speeds. The phone looks stylish and is very attractive with its cutting edge design and high resolution Super AMOLED screen. The S8500 Wave has a digital camera, FM radio and full social media support along with high speed web connections and is only 11mm thin!

The Super AMOLED screen measures 3.3 inches and its capacitive enables multi-touch functionality, the screen, the user interface and the operating system manage to work in perfect harmony with each other for a smooth experience. This fluidity is carried through all the features and applications of the phone, including the browser. The Dolfin 2.0 web browser is intuitive with flash video support and a pinch and zoom feature adds extra simplicity to overall browsing. Email integration is in place to keep you within easy reach of your inboxes; multiple accounts can be managed; personal or business.

The Samsung S8500 Wave houses a 5 megapixel camera for all budding photographers and is capable of shooting high quality video at 30 frames per second. The camera is well equipped with LED flash, digital zoom and auto focus. The HD video player can play a variety of file formats like Mpeg4, DivX and WMV, videos look brilliant on the 480 x 800 WVGA screen and there is no sign of motion blur on playback or recording.

The Wave offers a pretty good music player with album chart display and a quick playlist for instant listening. Wave offers one of the best sounds on the market with its 5.1 SRS Samsung surround sound. The basic player controls are easy to use and touch sized, and can be accessed from whatever screen you’re on by dragging a menu from the top of the screen.

Finally, the Wave has improved Bluetooth technology, an application store called Samsung Store and some location services with Google Maps support. The Samsung Wave makes easy work of integrating social networks, web connectivity and messaging.
