When was the last time you looked at a hypnotist?

It’s been a good few years since I last went to see a show like this, but I still remember some of the fun things the hypnotist made some people do. Why people volunteer to go on stage and make a fool of themselves is beyond me, but it’s the things those people do that really fascinate me. I mean it’s a family show and some areas are taboo, but still, all those people do what they are asked to do and they don’t seem to remember what they did. I remember they were made to “take a bath.” They went through the motions of undressing, getting into the bathroom, washing, going out again, drying off, and then getting dressed. I also remember a group of older women who told them they were teenagers at a Beatles concert. Those old dolls screamed, screamed, jumped, and went totally insane for the Fab Four. In real life, they probably wouldn’t have been able to move like girls. Another show had a group of people who believed they were Michael Jackson.

Well that was funny. They all sang into imaginary microphones and walked on the moon. Another group was led to believe that they were the best racing drivers. I can still imagine them sitting in chairs and thinking they were driving. The vocal sounds of the high-revving engines, the imaginary gearshift were very real to them. When I was a child, I went to see the local Indian religious festival, in which some of them walk on hot beds of burning embers, pierce large needles through their lips, cheeks, noses and other parts of the body. They seem to be painless and the most surprising thing is the fact that these wounds do not bleed. I saw 2 of these participants, in the city, a couple of days later and they did not seem to be in bad shape. I know a lady who was a heavy smoker. He sought the help of a hypnotist and not only immediately quit smoking, he developed a dislike for other smokers. She hated the smell, banned smoking in her home, and developed a form of nausea when others smoked near her.

Now, without going into the religious, medical or physiological arguments of these events, what do they all have in common? Some were hypnotized and unaware of their antics and some were in a self-induced trance to test their religious beliefs, but all were able to perform these acts through the power of the mind. By believing what they were told, they acted exactly as they believed. They really thought they were at a Beatles concert, or racing drivers, or Michael Jackson himself, or they thought they wouldn’t feel pain, or that smoking was terrible. They weren’t embarrassed or embarrassed. For the moment, they were who they thought they were. The mind is an incredibly powerful thing and when manipulated it can produce actions that cannot normally be accomplished. Imagine the possibilities. If you could manipulate the human mind, what could you accomplish? Anything. Imagine if you had a backache, but you thought it was gone. Imagine if you thought you were invincible. Imagine if you believed that you can outrun any athlete. Imagine if you were in control of your mind and could do anything. Well, my friend, that is possible. It’s okay, within reason. There are some things you just can’t do, no matter how hard you try, but there are so many things you can do that you actually think you can’t. It requires training and concentration. Start small, and as you achieve these goals, try more.

You see, this is a natural phenomenon, a universal natural law. As with the law of gravity, speed, or inertia, there are some laws of physics that cannot be discussed. They apply, no matter what you do or think. Either you accept it or you don’t. Some people were born with the gift of being able to control their minds, others were not. Some do it without realizing it and some have trained to do it. You can do, or achieve anything, if you can control your thought processes. That is an indisputable and irrevocable fact.

So do you want to take control or not? Think of all those things that you could acquire simply by harnessing the power of your mind. Instead of your mind doing its own thing and controlling you, change things starting today. Use the strong and positive force of your mind to your advantage and prevent the negative and destructive energies of an uncontrolled mind from ruining your life. Take control of your life and your future. We all want to be rich, healthy, successful, overcome fears, and be happy, but what we don’t realize is that we can have these things by believing. Start reading about it and take control. Know more.
